PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The HR Data and Technology Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, implementation and governance of all HR technology projects and initiatives. This role will also oversee the efforts related to the tracking, capturing and reporting of all data relevant to varying HR initiatives and requirements. This role will lead and develop a team who will be responsible for providing support and guidance of HR technologies and their associated activities to ensure operational results and requirements are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leverages HR technology capabilities to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Drives the continuous refinement of the HR technology vision, strategy and growth opportunities so that the highest possible value is leveraged; ensures users have effective and efficient access to relevant information.
- Reviews current manual processes within HR and identifies ways to transition these processes to our HR technology platforms.
- Recognizes the opportunities current technology provides and assesses its impact on business practices. This includes leading the understanding of processes, documenting gaps and recommending ways to use the current technology while providing suggestions of new technology and workflows. Also includes conducting retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and iterative development.
- Oversees the people data analytics and reporting functionalities and capabilities, ensuring information required to make decisions is available and easily accessible.
- Manages the successful functional implementation of, and on-going updates to, all HR technologies.
- Supports HR initiatives by ensuring continuity and successful delivery of operational services.
Responsible for the effective configuration, deployment and maintenance of HR technology.
- Working with IT and other stakeholders, creates implementation plans, develops recommendations, understands priorities and impacts, resource needs, communications and documentation required for HR technology projects.
- Accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product, evaluating progress and performance at each iteration and collaborates on the decision to move on to the next steps.
- Participates in the review of all HR project, process and technology support requests and/or improvements to systems, ensuring both process and system requirements are fully identified, evaluated, tested, implemented and aligned with HR strategic priorities.
- Oversees technical requirements specific to application configuration while supporting integrations.
- Handles HR Technology support & administration, including day to day issue resolution; ensures delivery of high-quality customer service to end users.
- Drives data integrity within the HR Technology systems; oversees and maintains user security, develops audit, research, and resolution processes.
- Actively participates in the Workday Enterprise governance and change process, ensuring need and priority of requested changes are in line with HR department priorities and other aspects of the Workday Enterprise ecosystem.
Manages the effective planning and execution of HR Technology Projects/Initiatives.
- Manages all aspects of project scope, schedule, resources and risks for assigned projects.
- Appropriately allocates work to ensure timely completion of technology projects and initiatives aligned with committed objectives.
- Leverages industry best practices to plan, manage, monitor and report on all projects.
