JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

Oversees and coordinates operations and maintenance activities of processing plants for a geographic area or district.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Oversee, direct, and assist employees performing operations and maintenance activities on pipeline, plant, and compressor station equipment
• Schedule and coordinate utilization of manpower and equipment to ensure efficient operations
• Recommend, coordinate, and provide appropriate documentation of installation and completion of plant improvements and/or modification projects
• Monitor and ensure proper documentation for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) / Process Safety Management (PSM) and Environment Protection Act (EPA) compliance within company and regulatory requirements
• Research, analyze, prepare, and monitor information including but not limited to:
  • Operation and maintenance capital budgets
  • Measurement documentation
  • Balance reports
  • Authorization for expenses (AFE)
  • Construction drawings and maps
  • Plant production reports
  • Chromatograph printouts
  • Safety reports
• Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

Work Experience

• Experience with operations and maintenance of processing plant activities
• Experience in use and function of office equipment including mainframe applications, microcomputers, and applicable software
• Experience and/or training related to:
  • Cryogenic process plants
  • Gas and liquid processing fundamentals
  • Safety policy and procedures
  • Emergency response procedures
  • Safe handling of flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems
  • Business communications

• Experience reading and interpreting government regulations, safety manual, construction drawings and maps, chromatograph printouts, and company policies and procedures
• Experience researching, analyzing, and preparing OSHA reports, budget reports, measurement documentation, balance reports, Authorization for expenses (AFE), plant production reports
• Experience interacting and communicating effectively
• Experience leading, directing, training, and/or supervising

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of: OSHA/PSM and EPA regulations and documentation requirements
• Ability to: apply basic math and algebraic formulas
• Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information or instructions
• Ability to: react and respond to emergency situations
