Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Applications - Information Technology & Operations Technology (IT/OT) to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site.

The Manager, Enterprise Applications (IT/OT) oversees a dedicated team responsible for managing and maintaining critical enterprise applications that streamline and enhance the operational efficiency of the Accounting, Procurement, Project Controls, and HR departments, and the Liquid Waste Facilities. This role involves ensuring that each application is robust, reliable, and tailored to meet the specific needs of these departments, enabling them to automate and optimize their processes effectively. The manager not only leads the strategic direction and daily operations of the team but also collaborates closely with department heads to identify areas where application enhancements can drive significant efficiencies, reduce manual workloads, and improve overall productivity. By championing innovation and continuous improvement, the Manager of Enterprise Applications (IT/OT) plays a pivotal role in transforming enterprise processes and supporting the company's broader operational goals

Responsibilities

As the Manager of Enterprise Applications, the individual will oversee the management and maintenance of critical enterprise applications including General Ledger and Timekeeping, Procurement application, Enterprise Asset Management System, and SharePoint, all running on Windows OS with MS-SQL as the database technology. The manager is responsible for ensuring that these applications are robust, reliable, and tailored to meet the specific needs of the departments they support, and the Liquid Waste Processing Facilities, as well as overseeing any interfaces with other systems. This role involves collaborating closely with department heads to identify areas for application enhancements to drive significant efficiencies, reduce manual workloads, and improve overall productivity. By championing innovation and continuous improvement, the Manager of Enterprise Systems will play a pivotal role in transforming enterprise processes and supporting the company's broader operational goals.

  • Manage, coordinate, and lead the team responsible for maintaining and managing enterprise systems such as General Ledger and Timekeeping, Procurement application, Enterprise Asset Management System, and SharePoint, supporting the Accounting, Procurement, and Liquid Waste Processing Facilities.
  • Conduct career development planning and performance assessments for the department staff, ensuring continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Establish and maintain program elements to ensure the qualification and technical expertise of team members, promoting growth within the enterprise systems unit.
  • Coordinate activities to ensure that project schedules and objectives are met, working closely with stakeholders from various departments.
  • Provide regular status updates to upper management, communicating key performance metrics and project statuses while ensuring aliment with business goals.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of cyber security measures within the enterprise systems environment, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Pilot new technologies and process improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of enterprise systems.
  • Interface with other internal and external software development and IT groups to facilitate the transfer and integration of innovative technologies where appropriate.
  • Coordinate group activities with vendors and external support organizations by attending status and planning meetings, maintaining detailed work schedules and budgets, and managing procurement and subcontract tasks.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for cybersecurity concerns within the enterprise systems realm, ensuring robust security measures are in place and maintained.
  • Provide strategic planning related to enterprise system resources, directing development efforts to improve existing systems, introduce new technologies, and enhance operational safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Represent the company on enterprise system and computing issues with external stakeholders, including DOE and other contractors, through meetings, reports, presentations, and policy reviews.
  • Ensure 24/7 technical support for the enterprise systems to support organizational needs and provide rapid response to system-related issues.
  • Manage task order subcontracts as needed to provide additional support or specialized expertise for enterprise system projects.
  • Establish and uphold quality assurance, configuration management, and design standards for enterprise systems.
