In this position...
This role will Lead all vehicle low voltage and high voltage wiring and electrical distribution systems for our EV’s through Tier 1 sources to meet strict cost and quality goals and is based in Dearborn, MI. This position may require occasional travel domestically and globally and will require flexibility to accommodate working with global teams.
What you'll do:
·Lead all vehicle low voltage and high voltage wiring and electrical distribution systems for our EV’s through Tier 1 sources to meet strict cost and quality goals. ·Deliver on weight and timing targets. ·Drive innovation thru the EDS system in design, manufacturing processes and new suppliers to support Ford’s transformation. ·Develop business plan and technology roadmaps and present them to senior management for outlooks of 5 years. ·Partner with purchasing team to have a stable but fully capable supply strategy. ·Develop and maintain relationships with Tier 1 suppliers and understand their technical capabilities.You'll have...
Bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
10+ years of vehicle low voltage and high voltage wiring and electrical distribution systems or related experience.
Even better, you may have...
·Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) degree in Engineering (Computer, Mechanical, Industrial or other).
·Strong business acumen with extensive experience in EDS design, development, manufacturing and delivery for the transportation industry.
·Demonstrated capability to deliver multiple programs/projects at the same time.
·Ability to work across departments and organizations.
·Willingness to travel globally for supplier meetings and launch activities.
