The E.W. Scripps Company is hiring a Manager, Creative Project Management who will focus on the day-to-day operational responsibilities and management of individual projects which include leading project management and helping to provide support for our local, national, and corporate teams, as well as third-party vendor relationships. This role requires leading the creative production workflow, creative resource capacity, and overall project needs, in additional to ensuring the quality, timeliness, and accurate execution of projects based on the creative brief, for both the internal creative team as well as third party creative vendors.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Works closely with Senior Managers of Creative and Director of Project Management to holistically represent the creative coordination discipline.
Helps to leads the relationship and scope of work with all third-party vendors.
Helps to lead the creation and alignment of the annual budget for the creative team with guidance and input Senior Managers of Creative and Director of Project Management to ultimately share back (and make recommendations) with the VP of Creative Studios.
Assists with creating the annual budget and monitoring the budget on a monthly basis and providing analysis and recommendations based on how the budget is pacing and how operations impact the budget.
Help to ensure that both the creative teams and contractors are adhering to established SOW for each work project type.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree
5 years of experience in project management
Experience working with creative teams
Experience in project management systems. Wrike experience a plus.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Required:
Exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills (verbal and written)
Exceptional at being an independent thinker and problem solver
Ability to manage deadlines for multiple projects, overall workload and creative resources
Ability to communicate project objectives and goals clearly to team
Ability to monitor resource allocation and effectiveness
Ability to manage multiple projects and resources in a fast paced
Preferred:
Experience working at a Television creative group or Creative agency (in project and/or account management)
Familiarity with Television design and post production operations and process
Experience working with multi-disciplined teams in a creative environment
Experience working with and facilitating creative teams
Experience working with ad sales
