The Manager, Contracts and Vendor Management, is responsible for overseeing the Information System’s contract lifecycle and software asset management strategy. This role ensures compliance with best practices, legal and regulatory requirements, optimizes software licensing, and manages vendor relationships to drive cost savings, operational efficiency and mitigation of risk. The Manager, Contracts and Software Assets, is a recognized Subject Matter Expert in contract negotiation strategies, software procurement strategies, asset tracking, and risk mitigation. The Manager will be managing significant improvements to existing processes often impacting cross-functional business processes and outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

IS/IT contracts Management and software asset management:

  • Lead the end-of-the-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts.

  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies, industry regulations, legal standards and Information System best practices.

  • Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Work closely with legal, procurement, finance, and Integra Leaders to align contract strategies with business objectives and Information Systems best practices.

  • Proactively Track contract renewals, amendments, and expirations, proactively addressing risks.

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of software licenses, subscriptions, and usage to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through license/resource utilization, consolidation, and alternative licensing models.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate best practices into procurement, new system onboarding, and decommissioning processes.

  • Financial & Risk Management:
    • Monitor software spend and identify areas for cost optimization.
    • Assess and mitigate risks related to software non-compliance, unauthorized software usage, and contract liabilities.
    • Partner with finance to develop software budget forecasts and track expenditures.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on contract and software asset-related risks and opportunities.
    • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on contract terms, software compliance, procurement process and best practices.
    • Develop reports and dashboards to track contract review performance and cost savings.
    • Run effective meetings with all stakeholders (IS, Finance, Procurement…) to review requisitions/SOW and ensure the P&L match our contractual commitments
    • Facilitate Quarterly business reviews with vendors and stakeholders where applicable to track progress and value creation.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, IT, or a related field (MBA or JD is a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in contract management, software asset management, procurement, or IT vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, negotiation strategies, and risk management principles.
  • Experience with software licensing models (SaaS, perpetual, subscription) and asset management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Microsoft OS and MS Office Suite
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)

Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role, and the ideal candidate will be based out of Princeton, NJ. The hybrid schedule requires in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
