Ensures efficient Project Management (PM) coordination and administration, and ensures adherence to defined and agreed process and commercial standards and guidelines.

Team Leadership & Strategy
• Leads, develops, and mentors a team of Program Managers, driving accountability and high performance.
• Establishes program management standards, tools, and best practices across R&D.
• Aligns program execution with R&D strategy, product portfolio, and technology roadmap.
• Drives organizational prioritization, resource planning, and capacity management.

Program Oversight & Execution
• Oversees a portfolio of R&D programs, ensuring delivery against cost, schedule, quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Provides guidance and escalation support on risks, opportunities, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensures consistent execution of project governance, agreements, and development processes.
• Maintains accountability for overall program health and successful outcomes.

Cross-Functional Leadership
• Drives strong collaboration across engineering, product management, quality, regulatory, and operations.
• Ensures alignment and transparency across teams, removing obstacles and enabling execution.
• Facilitates key program reviews and decision-making forums at the organizational level.

Governance, Communication, Reporting
• Establishes and maintains program governance frameworks, metrics, and reporting standards.
• Provides clear portfolio-level reporting to senior leadership (Director/VP), including status, risks, and key milestones.
• Leads portfolio planning, prioritization, and launch readiness reviews.
• Ensures compliance with architecture, design, quality, safety, regulatory, and IP standards across programs.

Continuous Improvement
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives across program management practices.
• Promotes knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and reuse across teams.
• Identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and predictability.

What you will have:
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Proven experience leading program managers and managing complex technology or engineering portfolios, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Proficiency with standard business and productivity tools (MS Office suite).

Core Competencies
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Deep understanding of engineering workflows, design controls, and structured development processes.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio of complex programs.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience in design engineering, service tooling, or hardware product development is highly beneficial.

The base pay range for this position is:

$107,060 - $147,213
