About the role

Job Summary: The C&C Manager is responsible for planning and implementing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain colleagues. It ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations and aligns programmes with the KDN's overall business strategy and budget. A smaller proportion of the role is to manage the HR controls for the People team.    
 

Annual Pay and Benefits Review    Support the delivery of the annual review; from benchmarking analyses to creation of decision-making tools and management briefings.
Information and Business Advice    Provide expert advice and guidance to management on compenation and benefits issues, market trends and best practices. Provide advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others.
HR Frameworks and Tools    Contribute to the drafting of HR frameworks and tools for compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and external legal requirements. Enable the attraction, development, and retention of talent at a sustainable cost.
Compensation and Benefits Programme Design    Contribute to the design and implementation of employee compensation structures and benefit programs; deliver elements of the technical design; provide financial, market, and legal analysis and insights; draft management proposals and reports.
HR Data Analytics and Insights    Deliver complex analyses of HR data; identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable effective compensation and benefits programmes and decisions. Prepare reports for management on compensation and benefits costs, trends, and effectiveness.
Incentive Program Design    Contribute to the design and manage the implementation of employee incentive programs; identify and respond to the needs of internal stakeholders; clarify the financial, business performance, and behavioural parameters that are to be met; ensure compliance with external legal requirements.
    
Interdisciplinary Relationship Management    Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with colleagues across disciplines, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
Operational Compliance    Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with national, local, and federal laws and regulations.
HR Controls and Compliance    Partner with Risk to manage HR controls and compliance - documentation, check standards and adherence, identify gaps, suggest improvements, regular reporting, be the conduit between HR control operators and Risk to ensure we meet global regulatory requirements.
 

Post graduate

Typically several years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits.
In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and relevant legislation.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
