About the role

Business Development builds partnerships to get Netflix on popular device platforms to make it easy for consumers to discover and enjoy Netflix. Internally, our team is an exemplar of cross-functional coordination deeply engaged with product, marketing, content licensing, network operations, finance, and legal. Externally, our team leads the charge to make Netflix available via hundreds of millions of devices: from consumer electronics companies building smarter SmartTVs and smartphones to new entertainment devices from companies like Amazon, Apple, and Google, to enabling consumers to access and pay for Netflix with the click of a button through their PayTV set-top box. However, if you watch Netflix today the chances are that our business development team has played a role in making it happen.
This role is a supporting function for our global partnerships team. With a focus on initiatives that maximize our teams' commercial and business impact, including creating commercial tools and materials, providing operational support, and assisting in deal and opportunity pipeline management, the mission is to empower the teams to develop business opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner Relationship Management Support

  • Assist in creating and maintaining essential materials for pitching partnership opportunities and fostering established strategic partnerships.
  • Provide operational support for B2B partner events, including logistics and coordination.

Deal Management and Contract Renewals Assistance

  • Support the coordination of our contract renewal pipeline and generate relevant process reports.
  • Implement improvements to internal operations processes related to opportunity pipeline and contract management.

Collaboration and Alignment Facilitation

  • Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to ensure the seamless execution of go-to-market strategy and partnership initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional discussions, stakeholder alignment, and the execution of internal events and offsites.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment. 
  • Familiarity with partnership or business development functions is a plus. 
  • Desirable experience in tools for process improvement and reporting.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $240,000 - $640,000.
