We are building our Business Operations team at Lucid within the Retail function. This team works on significant cross-functional initiatives to support Lucid’s rapid growth in the commercial space with clear approach, governance, framework, and has a strong business acumen to scale our operations globally. The team has a bird’s eye view across all commercial business programs and strategies, often serves as a connecting point between company vision and day-to-day execution.  This Manager, Business Operations requires an ability to think strategically about problems as well as a knack for tactical execution. Act as a trusted partner to Lucid’s leaders on cross-group group matters, coordinate resource and planning operations, and services, policies, and processes. This role will be based in the US at our Newark, CA Headquarters.

The Role

  • Drive significant projects that are strategically important to the business, including but not limited to growth & expansion, integration, financial planning, cross-functional process build & improvements, research, and benchmark.
  • Develop streamline process and scale efforts to maintain smooth and efficient operations for Lucid’s commercial business.
  • Establish program/project status reporting and deliver executive briefings to update senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Independently drive workstreams including structuring and breaking down complex problems, creating workplans, driving cross-functional alignment and ultimately delivering tailor-made recommendations and solutions that drive creative and rapid positive outcomes for the Business.
  • Gain holistic understanding of the end-to-end process to effectively program manage execution but also identify process improvements.
  • Define and implement repeatable framework across the projects (as to not have other teams reinvent the wheel).
  • Develop Global business operating standards across: Retail, Sales, Service, Systems
  • Develop & Roll-out KPIs across each business line within the Retail organization.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years in one or more of the following areas: Program Management, Business Operations, Strategy, Business Planning and Execution. 
  • Prior experience with Chief of Staff type responsibilities preferred.
  • Lead large, complex, cross-functional teams in one of more of the following areas: process improvement, systems implementation, organizational transformation, and change.
  • Minimum 3+ years in people management
  • Data-driven decision making with a strong bias towards action
  • Strong analytical background and passion for strategy, planning, operations, and execution
  • Entrepreneurial DNA; ability and desire to run initiatives end-to-end with full ownership
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, organized, and analytical
  • Ability to align stakeholders on a common set of priorities and plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with project planning tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets, Lucid chart, Confluence).
  • Proficient at building presentations
  • Ability to hit deadline and comfort with executive level presentations
  • Enthusiastic about the future of automotive luxury and sustainable mobility.
  • International business experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Master’s degree (MBA/MS) is preferred
  • Some domestic and international travel may be required.
