The Manager of Business Analytics will have the responsibility to retrieve, modify, clean, validate data and produce analytics that will drive decision making over key business dimensions. Individual will have to work closely with finance, sales, procurement and other departments to solve complex problems and present findings via a cohesive story supported by a clear association to value to the relevant departments.
The selected candidate for this role will be required to work onsite in Weston, Florida 2-3 days per week.
How you’ll spend your day
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Leads, manages and performs data mining, exploration, usage of analytical programs/languages to find anomalies within big data and/or develops and deploys enhanced models
- Serves as a partner to business leaders in researching areas for improvement, model and propose solutions or by creating dashboards to monitor results
- Professional expertise to interpret, solve prepare and present to executives using visual techniques and analytical methods
- Works independently or in teams, guiding staff
Your experience and qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in related field
Experience Required: 7+ years progressive experience in an analytics role in business related role
Experience Preferred:
- Experience in Operations and/or Process Improvement combined with analytical work
- Demonstrated experience in working in different business areas and business models
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Expertise in a combination of Analytical Tools (Tableau, SQL, Python, R, SAS, Azure, etc.)
- Academic courses in data science, analytics and analytical tools.
- Ability to understand regression analysis, association, clustering and other statistical methodologies in order to understand complex sales/market dynamics
- Assertiveness, problem solving abilities, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, time management, adherence to deadlines, accountability and creativity are required
- Must possess leadership, strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
