Your Future Team
The Data Analytics team plays a crucial role in using data-driven insights to improve workflows and promote operational innovation. The Manager, BS&O Data Analytics will help build the strategy and execution of this newly created team. You will manage the daily activities of Analysts and will implement and optimize data initiatives across Hightower. You will oversee the strategy for creating and maintaining dashboards, analyzing complex data sets, and providing actionable insights to improve and grow the business. Another important responsibility of this role is to identify and implement automated and technological solutions that enhance efficiency by replacing manual processes. You will partner with the Field Services and Business & Data Operations teams within the Centralized Services group to help streamline report/data processes. A focus on continuous improvement is important, to enhance data visualization techniques and automate processes to refine analyses.
What You’ll Do
• Leading a team: As a Manager, you will be accountable for the efficient processing execution of your team. You will help manage and direct overall team activities, monitor progress, and recommend and implement process changes to improve services and systems. Assign resources in support of business data and dashboard needs on an ad hoc basis as needed. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and quality.
• Champion Data Analytics Quality: Play in important role in improving accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting through collaboration with various departments within Centralized Services to identify and prioritize data remediation initiatives. Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee Enterprise Data Analysis Strategy and Initiatives: Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities (e.g., KPI development). Develop strategy to extract meaningful business insights from large data sets and propose actionable plans to address business needs. Research and apply continuous improvement techniques in data visualization, optimize and automate analysis, and transform raw data into actionable business insights.
• Utilize Advanced Tools: Use software such as Tableau, Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Salesforce to build dashboards and understand the enterprise software landscape.
• Dashboard and Reporting Management: Develop, automate, and maintain various reporting dashboards, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data. Track, review, and suggest updates to enhance global ticketing dashboard reports and Clear Ticket SLAs.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams, management, and stakeholders to understand business needs, enhance data analytics solutions, and deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations. This will include taking ownership of the request/ask from internal stakeholders, interfacing with data that may or may not already be in production and being the driving force behind tracking and monitoring progress from other departments.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: Document data flow, systems, and processes to improve the design, implementation, and management of business processes. Identify automated/technological solutions to replace current manual processes in an effort to free up resources for other company initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of management experience in Data Management, Data Science/Analytics, or similar role in the Financial Services field.
• Experience working with and developing multiple technology platforms, including Python, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, and Salesforce.
• Experience with data and data trends within the advisory business (e.g., RIA) functions (IT, Finance, Operations, and Compliance).
