SEBMF-East Bay Medical FoundationPosition Overview:
Provides a full complement of confidential, professional administrative support to the Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation CEO and supervision for the executive administration support team for the foundation and medical group. This position uses independent judgment and initiative to complete a variety of executive level communications, proactively and strategically anticipates calendar development and manages the activity needs of the CEO and ambulatory executive team. This position will be performing complex administrative support activities including maintaining confidential files, completing special projects, preparing presentation materials, creating statistical reports, and taking minutes at a variety of meetings. This position will also manage and provide operational leadership to the ambulatory administration support team for the foundation and medical group, as well as planning, organizing, and directing operations and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services and/or achievement of business results. Establishes protocols and practices, ensuring compliance.Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Typing 65 wpm as well as proven advanced skills in word processing and business letter writing is required. And have well developed skill using word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software is required; with seasoned experience with Microsoft Office products such as: MSWord, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must have demonstrated ability to deal with extremely confidential information, and have the ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and a high level of professionalism
- Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills and have the ability to balance numerous priorities in a given time.
- Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have demonstrated communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to transcribe from dictation equipment and take meeting minutes is required.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, with a strong emphasis in time management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
- Thorough understanding of operations and workflows and how department’s process/workflow impacts other department operations.
- Demonstrates understanding of business and operational requirements.
- Demonstrates ability to develop and manage a budget.
- Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills, and is able to develop plan to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.
- Knowledge of emerging treads and how it impacts operations.
