The following position is to join our RTX, Enterprise Services financial services team: 

Brief Description of Department

The UTG Finance Manager position will report to the Controller, UTG Finance and will have responsibilities including: (i) Managing team of 2 to 4 financial professionals (ii) Lead for Customer and Contract Master Data creation and maintenance (iii) Subject matter expert and lead for all Cash Collection and Banking processes (iv) Owner and key point of contact for finance group box and assignment confirmation communications (v) Manage vendor cost processing and payments (vi) Key contributor for monthly financial reporting activities (vii) Support UTG project deliverables for SAP enhancements and future populations.

What You Will do:

• Be responsible for creation and modification of monthly UTG Customer and Contract master data
• Own all cash collection and banking activities including respective clearing and postings for Accounts Receivable and cash clearing accounts
• Manage the Group Box and Assignment Finance Confirmation processes
• Lead for monthly accounting transactions, billing, and reporting to China entities
• Provide support for the UTG billing and accounting close process and all reporting requirements
• Management of the Relocation and Tax vendors cost posting and AP processing
• Participate in monthly JE’s, account reconciliation preparation and approval utilizing Blackline
• Manage projects and presentations as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have

• This role typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, business or finance  and minimum 8 years prior relevant  accounting/finance gained in a large corporate/public  accounting setting, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience preferred,
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
• At least 5 years of experience to include technical knowledge of accounting processes
• At least 5 years of experience and knowledge SAP ERP system application

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior FP&A and reporting experience with strong PowerPoint skillset desirable
• Master’s degree and/or CPA
• Understanding of SAP modules SD, PS and FICO
• Firm grasp of UTC accounting systems and controls as well as technical knowledge of payroll accounting for International assignees
• Strong process documentation skills and excellent communication (written and oral) and analytical skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a multitasking environment

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer,
