Maintenance Worker (Somerton Rd.)

Maintenance Worker- Under general direction, is responsible for predictive and preventative practices to safely assist mechanics to repair / install / troubleshoot facility equipment. Assist mechanics with electrical / plumbing / mechanical / HVAC troubleshooting, installations and repairs. The description above represents the most significant functions of this position but does not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned.   Pay Rate: $28.00 Location: Somerton Rd. Background check and Drivers License required.

Responsibilities

- equipment lubrication .

- air filter changes / Air handler maintenance

- record keeping / work request

- lighting / ballast replacement / electrical installations/ troubleshooting .

- plumbing / drain clearing , flushometer repairs / faucet repairs

- air compressor maintenance , oil changes , exchanger cleaning.

- pumps , cleaning strainers ,

- exhaust systems, belt changes .

- cooling , coil cleaning, temperature adjustments .

- heating /coil cleaning /steam boiler repairs.

 

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical , plumbing, and HVAC operations and the utilization of basic tools and specialized equipment to perform maintenance functions.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Facility maintenance trade school and Certs.
