POSITION SUMMARY

As a Maintenance Utility, you will be responsible for maintaining the stockroom functions as it pertains to receiving, issuing, and creating spare parts within the physical storeroom and SAP. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory and interfacing with several plant groups including Maintenance Technicians, Buyers, Planners, and others. The Maintenance Utility position embodies the initiative and agility of the entire Maintenance Team.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Receive (both physically and in SAP) all maintenance inbound goods and materials.
  • Inventory and reconcile parts, investigating any inventory variances.
  • Set up new parts in SAP, running SAP functions around inventory management.
  • Maintain and update Bills of Materials as necessary.
  • Support Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Technicians in parts staging and kits for preventative maintenance.
  • All other duties as assigned to support Team, Factory, and Nestle Purina business needs.
  • MUST BE OPEN TO ALL SHIFTS.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 1+ years' inventory management experience in a maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.

 

Other

  • SAP experience preferred.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $24.37 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
