We are currently expanding our fleet and have opportunities for experienced Mechanical and Electrical trades looking to progress their career in a permanent step-up position, working rotating shifts on our Lifestyle Roster (4/5/5). By joining our high-performing team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our equipment to the highest standards of safety and performance. Additionally, you will oversee the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities carried out by the rostered maintenance crew. In this role you will be responsible for:

Reporting to the crew supervisor, you will be an integral crew member driving performance through modern maintenance processes. In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance on a diverse range of equipment, assisting the Maintenance leadership team with Supervisory requirements including:

• Implementation of maintenance planning schedules in the service and repair of electric shovel, hydraulic excavators, drills, and Electric and mechanical drive haul truck fleet.

• Engaging, directing, and leading a team of experienced maintenance personnel.

• Demonstrating exceptional safety standards

• Identifying, monitoring, and developing high levels of compliance with regards to workmanship, documentation, and defect management.

About you:

• Trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical field combined with Open Cut Mining experience.

• Sound working knowledge of SAP and Asset Management systems is desired.

• Completion of Frontline Management qualifications & S1, S2 & G2 training will be highly regarded.

• Your strengths will include solid communication skills, people focused and ability to respond to a fast paced, dynamic environment.
