Maintenance Technician - Schenectady Location (Part Time)

Bridges of New York, a transitional housing program, is looking for a part-time Maintenace Technician at our Schenectady location.

Position is a part time position up to 10 Hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Must be able to perform the major functions of job with or without an accommodation.
• Required to attend all mandatory training specified by policy.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of this job description are adhered to.
• Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees which you become aware of to your immediate Supervisor.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

The following qualifications apply:

• 2 years maintenance experience and knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other maintenance trades to provide assistance desired.
• Must maintain a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED.
