About the Role
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility. This position is responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing timely repairs to prevent downtime and maintain safety standards. The Maintenance Technician collaborates closely with other departments to support production goals by minimizing equipment failures and optimizing system performance. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, including identifying potential problems before they escalate and recommending improvements. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician contributes to a safe, reliable, and productive work environment by maintaining all infrastructure and equipment in excellent working condition.

The Maintenance Technician utilizes their mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge daily to inspect and repair equipment, ensuring continuous operation. Problem-solving skills are essential for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions to reduce downtime. Communication skills facilitate collaboration with colleagues and reporting to management, ensuring transparency and coordinated efforts. Familiarity with technical documentation and schematics supports accurate maintenance and repair work. Additionally, adherence to safety standards and protocols is critical to protect both personnel and equipment during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications- Performing troubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. Assist with the service and repairing of more complex equipment.
- Ability to repair all electrical wiring, electronic and electrical equipment (24 to 480 Volts)
- Complying with applicable regulations according to OSHA and the department’s Safety program.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLC programs.
- Provide scheduled and emergency repairs to production equipment during production shift.
- Install and maintain production/facility equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.<
