Maintenance Technician – Senior Living Community
$18.00–$23.40/hour | Full-Time Days

This hands-on role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, groundskeeping, and transportation support throughout the community.

What You'll Do

  • Complete maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Perform repairs on building systems, equipment, lighting, plumbing, and fixtures
  • Assist with apartment turnovers and resident move-ins
  • Support groundskeeping activities, including seasonal maintenance as needed
  • Monitor and maintain facility safety systems and equipment
  • Operate community vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vans and buses, for resident transportation
  • Respond to on-call maintenance needs as assigned
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be willing to operate a wheelchair-accessible van or bus for resident transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance experience
  • Chauffeur License preferred

Additional Information

  • One full-time day shift available
  • Holidays are required
  • Weekends are generally not required; however, team members may occasionally be scheduled on weekends when assigned to the on-call rotation.
