Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Clinton, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment through proactive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns
- Use various tools and test equipment to diagnose and resolve technical problems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency
- Implement and maintain safety procedures in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements in the company's maintenance management system (SAP)
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and work on critical equipment repairs
- Assist in the installation and setup of new manufacturing equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- AAS Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance with 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Proven skills in repairing and maintaining electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, and other test equipment
- Experience in troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic circuits and analyzing technical documentation
- Basic PLC programming skills for equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in industrial settings
- Experience with high-speed automation equipment is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

THE ENVIRONMENT
