Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 years prior maintenance experience required, preferably in multifamily housing
• HVAC experience required; EPA certification (Type II or Universal) preferred
• Ability to perform general apartment maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems
• Swimming pool maintenance experience and CPO certification a plus
• Must be able to respond to after-hours calls
• Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, employees, and vendors
• Ability to regularly walk the property and work in varying weather conditions
• Bilingual candidates preferred (English/Spanish or other)

Position Duties:

• Oversee upkeep of all buildings, grounds, and amenities
• Complete service requests and prepare vacant apartments for new occupancy
• Respond promptly to repair requests, including after-hours emergencies
• Manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory
• Follow OSHA and EPA standards, and comply with all Fair Housing regulations
