Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for projects located in and around Canton, OH.  This is a third shift opportunity with a pay range of $25-33/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Maintenance Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

• Perform machine maintenance and repair in a manufacturing setting

• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and maintain AC/DC drives, motor controls, and 3-phase power systems

• Handle facilities maintenance, plumbing, forklift repair, and light fabrication/welding

• Follow and perform preventative maintenance schedules

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Use basic computer systems for logging work and tracking maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• • Reliable and self-motivated with good communication skills

  • Strong mechanical ability and general to advanced maintenance knowledge

  • Intermediate to extensive electrical experience (especially in manufacturing/industrial settings)

  • Ability to weld, fabricate, and troubleshoot systems effectively

  • Must be able to train on day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) prior to moving to midnight shift

  • Must pass background check and drug screen
