Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture.  The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Maintenance Technician – General.  The Maintenance Technician – General is responsible for the upkeep of the buildings, common areas, and overall campus grounds. This position directly contributes to the success of the company by maintaining the facility.

This is a full-time, hourly role.   This is onsite.  This position is a 1st Shift role. The hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

The Role:

• Assist in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of boilers, pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment
• Monitor boiler room gauges, meters, and control systems to ensure proper functionality
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement, and cleaning of equipment
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing boiler-related issues under the supervision of a senior technician
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of inspections and repairs
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines
• Report any irregularities or potential hazards to the maintenance supervisor
• All other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
• Two+ years of relevant work experience in general maintenance is required
• Possess good communication and problem-solving skills highly desired
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer is required
• Ability to work overtime, evenings, and occasional weekends due to project assignments
• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
