Maintenance Technician 2

Performs general preventative maintenance responsibilities that include setting up, adjusting and repairing all types of equipment by:

+ Programming and troubleshooting of PLC’s, HMI and industrial computers.

+ Install and calibrate all instrumentation not limited to but to include all scales and temperature.

+ Ability to input all work orders and PM, parts orders with IMAIT Proficiently.

+ Read and understand blueprints and manuals, electrical schematics, and machine layout.

+ Mentor and train Tech, I & II to build bench strength in the maintenance department.

+ Participate in projects assigned by the maintenance lead.

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct all controls on equipment within the facility.

+ Participate in continuous improvement activities as assigned

+ Knowledge of all chemicals in the plant and follow all SDS rules and knowledge were the book is stored

 

Practice and perform according to the established safety practices that are in place by:

+ Perform LOTO, Confined Space and Hot Work permits when required

+ Setting up and safely operating all types of production equipment and machine tools such as lathes, mills, welder, make or rework required machine parts.

+ Knowledge of all internal QA procedures & SOP's

+ Knowledge of basic safe work procedures and maintenance shop procedures.

+ Keep clean job site and tools.

 

We are hiring for both day and night shift for our 2-2-3 schedule. (that schedule rotates within a 2-week period) Days works 5:50A to 6:00P and Nights works 5:50P to 6:00A.

Maintenance technicians level 2 are paid between $34.61 - $35.90

Maintenance technicians level 3 are paid between $38.73 - $40.00
