Maintenance Technician | Full-Time Position | $1,000 Sign On Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
  • Monitor HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Test and schedule inspections of fire protection, security, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance
  • Provide regular and emergency/unscheduled repairs throughout building
  • Experience in maintenance areas such as Electricity, preventative maintenance, carpentry, painting, applicant repair, vendor management and EPA
  • Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents

 

Education / Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid WI driver’s license with a good record
  • Prepare rooms for move ins/outs including repairs, paint touch-ups, and moving furniture
  • Respond to work order requests and concerns from residents, families, and coworkers
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs throughout the building, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and large and small appliances
  • Test and schedule inspections of fire protect systems, security systems, and plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and large and small appliances
  • 1+ year experience in maintenance; housing background preferred
  • Basic mechanical skills to include light electrical and plumbing, (HVAC and fire sprinklers a plus)
  • Ability to critically think and problem solve is a must
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 50lbs; climb ladders and stairs
