This is a non-union positionThis position is responsible to assist in the development, implementation, and management of Power Operations maintenance strategy as it relates to delivery of services and material management. The position ensures adequate planning and forecasting of material consumption, order forecast, emergency stock on hand, and supply of external labor and services, as required to ensure safe and reliable operation of our assets.

What You Will Do:
Responsible for the overall sourcing strategy for parts and services for Power operations fleet of equipment
Lead the optimization of the sourcing strategy with a focus on safety, reliability and cost control
Continuously supervise and evolve the services and parts strategy to build a robust and reliable vendor network
Responsible for management of inventory and critical spare parts equipment ensuring adequate inventory levels for materials and forecasts the consumption of materials and required services to support operating reliability
Drives purchase decisions based on cost/risk and budgetary considerations
Advises senior management on market risks related to supply chain and recommends risk mitigating actions
Maintains supplier relationships and develops strong partnerships
Supports the supply chain group on the execution of procurement activities such as negotiation of contracts, costs, terms of supply, service, and quality
Who You Are:
Associates Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a supply chain role and at least 6 years in the global renewable industry (wind, solar and/or storage) Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
Proven experience deploying supply chain management strategies. Demonstrated experience handling and developing complex vendor relationships
Extensive knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning Tools (SAP, MAXIMO, ORACLE, etc.) with focus on inventory and work order management
Proven experience with Inventory Management (DOH, Lead Time, Reorder Point, Warehousing, shipping & receiving)
Strong financial and commercial skills relevant to supply chain
Ability to travel 25% within US and Canada.
This position will be 100% remote.

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, prioritize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, coordinate and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
