The TPM Supervisor is responsible for leading and implementing Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) strategies to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize plant efficiency in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role ensures that maintenance processes align with predictive maintenance techniques, and Industry 4.0 advancements. As a key leader within the maintenance department, the TPM Supervisor oversees preventive and predictive maintenance programs, while collaborating with production, engineering, and equipment OEMs to drive continuous improvement. This role is also responsible for analyzing maintenance KPIs and OEE while conducting root cause analysis, and managing CMMS work orders to enhance operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a hands on leader with strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems and is passionate about driving a TPM culture focused on proactive problem solving and long-term asset management.
This role will require a qualified candidate to be located near our Riceville, IA facility as this is a 100% onsite position. We offer a comprehensive relocation package to all qualified candidates.

- Develop, implement, and oversee the Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) program to enhance equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
- Lead and manage maintenance teams, ensuring proper execution of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Analyze key maintenance KPIs, OEE, downtime and implement data driven improvements.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure maintenance activities align with operational goals.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and eliminate recurring equipment failures.
- Optimize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) usage, tracking work orders, asset history, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, and ISO safety and regulatory standards through routine safety audits and training.
- Develop and implement maintenance training programs to conduct basic equipment care and inspections as a standard for team.
- Oversee spare parts inventory management ensuring critical components are available while controlling costs.
- Plan and execute scheduled shutdown maintenance activities ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Support Industry 4.0 initiatives for predictive analytics and smart automation into the maintenance program.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate maintenance services and procurement of spare parts for equipment.
- Coach, mentor, and train maintenance personnel, develop continuous improvement and skills development plans.
- Maintain detailed maintenance documentation and report for tracking.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ā Ā
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three (3) or more years of manufacturing experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One (1) year of supervisory/lead experience.
STAND OUT QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT sensors, predictive analytics, and AI-driven maintenance.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking work orders and asset history.
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, and ISO 9001 standards for industrial maintenance safety.
- Experience Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and machine guarding regulations.
- Ability to conduct safety audits and risk assessments to prevent workplace incidents.
- Experience with low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems, including 480V 3-phase power distribution.
- Experience with industrial fabrication equipment, including welding, cutting, and machining processes.
- Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical failures and conducting root cause analysis for recurring mechanical issues.
