We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Beloit, WI team.

Responsibilities include: 

 

  • The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all maintenance functions necessary to ensure safe and reliable plant operations: manufacturing, utility services, boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, electrical services, facility, and grounds maintenance. 
  • Maintenance Supervisor also provides personnel coaching and skill development to sustain a proactive, planned maintenance program. 
  • Propose and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) in accordance with Best Maintenance Practices.
  • Facilitate and support the refinement of Maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime (PM’s, Predictive Maintenance, etc.).
  • Ensure the implementation of all repairs/modifications from maintenance notifications are executed on time with high quality workmanship.
  • Ensure that the job planning is accurate and effective.
  • Guide SME’s in the implementation and ownership of IFF Reliability programs.
  • Development of personnel training programs to establish a properly trained team and to assist in the professional development of individual team members.
  • Evaluate the performance of team members and provide periodic feedback to ensure development.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and plant partners to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Encourage professional, collaborative teamwork between all facility functions (Production Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Quality Management, etc.)
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility to seek out potential problems and to solicit operator feedback.
  • Assist in the development and tracking of the maintenance and reliability budget.
  • Assures compliance with government regulatory agencies.
  • Follows all applicable good manufacturing practices (GMP's).
  • Ensures proper documentation of planned and unplanned work via computerized maintenance management system (SAP)
  • Maintains and uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma required, Engineering Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial or military maintenance leadership position; 7 years preferred  
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude, with the ability to analyze, evaluate, and solve mechanical problems
  • Strong electrical skills with the ability to interpret instrument loop diagrams, electrical single line diagrams, and perform basic electrical trouble shooting
  • Working knowledge of personnel safety programs including LOTO, fall protection, ladder safety, confined space entry, line and equipment opening, hot work, and NFPA30
  • Ability to interpret P&ID’s, facility layout drawings, and equipment drawings
  • Excellent Interpersonal communication skills 
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent follow through, judgment, and common sense. "Make it happen" attitude
