Position Summary:The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring that all manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure are operating safely and efficiently. This role involves leading a team of technicians, prioritizing maintenance tasks, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, and responding to equipment breakdowns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial maintenance and electrical/mechanical systems, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Reporting Relationships:The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager. Location: This position will be based in Hialeah, FL. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
- Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct and oversee preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and confined space protocols.
- Maintain and improve facility systems including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and facilities teams to resolve issues and plan maintenance work.
- Monitor and maintain documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and breakdowns.
- Safely operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and JLG-type lifts.
- Ensure proper training and development of maintenance team members.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory or lead role; or completion of a four-year approved technical training program and two (2) years of maintenance experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical systems, and facility maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, work on ladders and elevated surfaces, and operate maintenance equipment.
- Must be able to work Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime or Saturdays as needed.
