The Position

Job Summary: 

The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for Maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and utilities to support manufacturing and business operations at the PCNA Miami facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs routine scheduled and reactive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Troubleshoots machines and systems independently, focused on root cause analysis.
• Sets up and runs production equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
• Maintains equipment log utilizing a CMMS (FMX).
• Work with administrative staff to keep inventory of replacement parts for production equipment.
• Interacts with machine manufacturers and Tech Support as needed.
• Performs routine building maintenance and special projects.
• Quickly react to equipment failures, with ability to diagnose, and repair in a timely fashion.
• Performs routine Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Pneumatic and Hydraulic repairs.
• Performs all duties to OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70 or any necessary standards.
• Fabricates custom parts for emergency repairs.
• Operates forklift and Scissors lift as needed.
• Supports Emergency Response team when needed.
• Collaborates with engineering & maintenance team to lead and execute project tasks.
• Reads basic schematics, blueprints and various production meters.
• Assist and work with production employees on tool change and set up issues.
• Assemble, disassemble industrial equipment and machinery.
• Recommend and execute measures to improve production equipment and metrics as part of a continuous improvement culture.
• Maintains electrical and PLC repairs and projects.
• Assist outside contractors on site as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
