$100,000 + based on Experience

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Maintenance Shop Foreman at our Montebello, CA. Service Center. Successful candidates for this position must possess a good work ethic and be trusted to handle valuable customer freight. 

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Coordinate the preventative and day-to-day maintenance & repair of heavy-duty tractors, trailers and forklifts.
• Perform day-to-day administrative duties.
• Knowledge of all major repairs on trucks, trailers and forklifts. 
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with air brakes, clutches, electrical repairs PM's, lift-gates, overhead door repair, etc.
• Manager experience would be a plus
• Experience with the following diagnostic software would be a plus: Insite, Diagnostic Link, ESA, Davie, DLB, Wabco, ACom, Service Ranger, Allison, Silver Snap Tool.
• Experience with SPCC Regulations, Inspecting, and Reporting would be a plus.
• CARB certification & knowledge of regulations would be a plus.
• This is a HUB facility so applicants must possess the ability to coordinate repairs & alignments with satellite locations and vendors as well.
• This location has a truck sales lot so applicants need to work with prospective buyers and our sales team to help facilitate any potential sales.
• Must have the ability to keep all shop staff up to date on any required diagnostic , safety ,or equipment training that is required .
• Must have own tools
