Job Summary:

Provides supervision and monitors activities of all equipment which include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and building maintenance activities. Ensures that needed repairs are scheduled, delegated, and completed by the PM Technicians.

Required Education/Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or five (5) years equivalent experience in Extrusion facility.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Very good technical communication skills and general communication skills.
• Ability to write clear and precise procedures and other process documents.
• Proficient computer skills, in Microsoft and Oracle along with CMMS system of MVP

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs formal, on the job training, and instruction of all maintenance technicians regarding proper PM Maintenance methods and procedures.
• Reviews and inspects all work of PM Maintenance Technicians.
• Supervises and assists in PM maintenance repairs and assures compliance with all policies and regulations.
• Assist in setting up Preventative Maintenance schedules.
• Makes studies, prepares reports, and develops programs to improve operations in the Maintenance Department and efficiency of subordinates.
• Provides moderate strategic and tactical input.
• Provides advanced engineering and/or quality-oriented skills.
• Responsible for contributing to product and process integrity/reliability.
• Review all equipment data and prioritize/delegate work needed to achieve 95% machine uptime.
