The Opportunity 

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this role, you will provide maintenance planning and scheduling services to enhance workforce effectiveness by eliminating potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, equipment, files, and personnel. This permanent position will report to the Maintenance &Engineering Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following; 

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and define work requests and work orders.
• Monitor and align spare parts inventory with the TetraPak contract.
• Manage obsolete, slow-moving, and red-tag inventory.
• Continuously monitor the PM02 budget and align with Maintenance ABP.
• Utilize GPS processes to drive zero losses and uphold Glanbia's culture.
• Develop projects and participate in trials to support cost-out value-in initiatives.
• Coordinate equipment shutdowns and identify materials, parts, and labor for work orders.
• Maintain files of blueprints, equipment manuals, and equipment history.

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of inventory management and budget alignment.
• Familiarity with GPS processes and maintenance best practices.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to various sites as needed.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
