Job Description:

About the Role:

Our Cambridge, MD, facility, a manufacturer of quality private label aseptic products, is seeking a Maintenance Parts Coordinator. As Maintenance Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the inventory and procurement of maintenance parts and supplies to support the maintenance department.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Own the sites effective inventory control program, including setting minimum and economic order quantities. Recommend improvements to storeroom layouts and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Purchase necessary MRO materials to ensure the availability of parts and supplies for plant operations. Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and prioritize purchasing needs.
• Expedite incoming materials shipments as needed. Communicate closely with team members awaiting receipts to prevent disruptions to plant operations.
• Locate and source critical repair parts, identifying and recommending satisfactory substitutes for unavailable materials and services. Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely access to needed parts.
