Responsibilities

 

 

Schedule:     Sunday-Thursday, 3:30pm-12am.  You will train for about 6-8 weeks on 1st shift, M-F 8am-4:30pm.

 

 

3.1 Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on all facility and production equipment with assistance.

3.2 All work performed will be in accordance to GMP’s.

3.3 Troubleshoots and corrects all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic malfunctions on production equipment.

3.4 Set-up and assemble new equipment.

3.5 Examines equipment to spot potential problems, leaks or malfunctions and reports them to the Maintenance Supervisor.

3.6 Assembles, installs and packs molds as assigned.

3.7 Maintains machines, tools and work area in a clean and safe orderly manner.

3.8 Must perform all duties within established safety guidelines and procedures.

3.9 Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.

3.10 Follow requirements established under Job Safety Analysis training.

3.11 Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

4.1.1 Must have two (2) years experience as a mechanic in a similar environment.

4.1.2 Must be able to use precision measuring equipment.

4.1.3 Competent at reading and understanding most typical fluid power schematics.

4.1.4 Competent at reading and understanding most typical circuit diagrams.

4.1.5 Competent on tubing and piping jobs found in shop work or general repair and installations.

4.1.6 Adequate knowledge of electrical systems to install and troubleshoot motor starters and other related items with limited supervision.

4.1.7 Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in lubrication procedures.

4.1.8 Must be able to cut and weld with accuracy.

4.1.9 Must be able to use parts and machine manuals.

4.1.10 Must have basic knowledge of all types of equipment on the job site.

4.1.11 Competent to disassemble, inspect, measure and reassemble, test most valve and hydraulic cylinders.

4.1.12 Desire to broaden skills needed to advance in the Maintenance department.

4.1.13 Must possess a Berry forklift and be able to operate power industrial equipment (scissor-lift, forklift, hand-jack, etc.)
