Job Summary

Performs installation, repair, maintenance, dismantlement, and relocation of various industrial machinery, utilizing a range of tools and techniques to ensure proper functioning and alignment of equipment.

Responsibilities

The Specialist performs some or all of the following accountabilities as assigned:
• Leveling, aligning and installing industrial machinery (e.g., conveyors, tram rails, engines, turbines, production equipment, etc.) on foundations/base plates using hand and power tools
• Dismantling/moving machinery/equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
• Determining and performing required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.)
• Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment and ordering/installing replacement parts
