Starting Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per Hour (Based on Experience)

Williams Hotel Group is currently seeking dependable and motivated Maintenance Engineers to support our portfolio of 9 hotels in the Valdosta area. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have experience with basic building maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance throughout hotel properties.
Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
Repair and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and exterior property features.
Replace light fixtures, outlets, faucets, door hardware, locks, and other building components.
Assist with painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and general upkeep projects.
Maintain swimming pools and related equipment when applicable.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and local regulations.
Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed.

Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to travel between hotel properties in the Valdosta area as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.
