What You'll Do:

 

As a Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation for oversight of plant maintenance team and project engineering team.

 

What We're Looking For:

• Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance / engineering team. 
• Ensure a safe work environment and culture in the Engineering and Maintenance Department.
• Oversee and control plant maintenance budget.
• Participate in capital planning.
• Execute capital projects:
  • Refine project scope with requestor.
  • Perform design calculations.
  • Estimate project costs.
  • Provide construction oversight and management throughout the project.
• Provide resources and technical support for continuous improvement programs at the plant.

• Assist with external, internal, plant wide and departmental HSE&S audits.

• Other duties as required and directed by the Sr Plant Manager.

 

Skills That Make a Difference: 

• BS in Engineering. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive chemical unit operations experience.
• 7+ years of experience in the chemical field.
• 3+ years of capital project engineering experience with demonstrated competencies to successfully manage project and construction activities.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, tools, and maintenance procedures.
• Commitment to using preventative maintenance to drive equipment reliability.
• Capable of leading problem-solving teams.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Strong MS Office products knowledge and skills.
• Considered a plus:
  • ​​​​​​​Experience with DeltaV, OSI PI Process Book, SAP, Process Safety Management
