Maintenance Engineer
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire
Salary: Up to £50,000 + benefits
Type: Permanent, Full-time
The Opportunity
Block MB is working with an established manufacturing business near Evesham to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team.
This is a hands-on role keeping production equipment safe, reliable and running efficiently, in a supportive team with genuine long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance in line with the site schedule.
* Fault-find across production machinery and equipment.
* Support equipment improvements, upgrades and new installations.
* Keep accurate maintenance records.
* Work closely with production colleagues to improve equipment performance.
* Follow safe working practices at all times.
About You
* A recognised engineering qualification, such as an apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive, reliable and safety-focused approach.
* PLC experience would be an advantage.
