Job Description

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our barn facilities. This position requires technical expertise and dedication to maintaining facility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary technical specialist for comprehensive maintenance operations, including plumbing systems and electrical infrastructure
• Execute preventative maintenance procedures to ensure continuous operational efficiency of facility equipment
• Respond to and resolve facility emergencies, including power interruptions, water-related incidents, and other critical situations
• Perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks to maintain facility integrity and operational standards
• Undertake additional maintenance projects and responsibilities as assigned by management

This position requires strong technical aptitude and systematic approach to facility maintenance. The role demands attention to detail and commitment to maintaining operational excellence through proactive facility management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of five years of facility maintenance experience
• Demonstrated engineering knowledge through formal education and practical experience

Physical Requirements and Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in the operation of hand tools and maintenance equipment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Physical capability to perform essential functions including:
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Kneeling, crouching, and bending
• Reaching and grasping
• Working in various weather conditions
• Competency in radio communication protocols

Certifications:

• Must possess and maintain all relevant licenses and certifications required for the position

Additional Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve complex maintenance issues
• Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
• Must be available to respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
