Maintenance Assistant (Part-Time)

Pineapple House Assisted Living in Naples is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a welcoming community environment while supporting the daily operations of our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to accommodate a varied schedule to ensure the smooth maintenance and upkeep of our property.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs around the facility to ensure safety and functionality

- Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of common areas and resident spaces

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise

- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential maintenance concerns

- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment

- Collaborate with staff to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in maintenance, handyman work, or related field preferred

- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Flexibility to work up to 24 hours per week with a varied schedule

- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as needed
