The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 accurately fills and counts medications. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 ensures inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with inventory supply team. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.

Required Qualifications

• Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license OR a Pharmacy Tech in Training license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Arizona

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR mail order pharmacy experience OR call center experience in a pharmacy OR any retail OR factory/warehouse setting experience

• Problem solver who can find viable solutions that meets business needs, absent from all ideal tools and resources

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to work on-site full-time at the CenterWell dispensing center located at 4302 Buckeye Rd Phoenix, AZ 85043

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk and stand during an entire work shift

• Ability to lift 35lbs occasionally and 25-30lbs frequently

• Possess hand strength to grasp and twist items continuously

• Ability to reach above the waist and shoulders frequently

• Bend, twist and reach frequently

• Comfortable working at heights of 20ft 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy dispensing

• Critical thinker who can anticipate business needs and take initiative, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality customer experience

• Moderate working knowledge of Excel

Additional Information

Work Hours: 10-hour shift Monday-Friday (Will have one (1) day off during the week) between the hours of 5:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Arizona Time (Based on business need)

• Overtime (Can include weekends) based on business needs

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
