The focus of this internship is to improve shaft loading reliability of current parts through process analysis, design changes, and process improvements.
Tasks Include:
- Developing a process for loading new additional shafts that are currently used on another machine.
- Improve Auto Honing setup time.
- Analyze current tooling.
- Define design changes.
- Verify SETUP time reduction.

Internship Requirements:
Academic Year: Junior
Area of Study: Mechanical Engineering
Preferred GPA: 3.2 or higher
Software Knowledge: SolidWorks and Office 365
Internship Information:
Work Hours: 8:30AM-4:00PM M-F
Department: Machining/Crankshafts
Compensation: $20/hour
