Machine Operator- Night

Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. This role supports daily manufacturing operations by ensuring machinery functions properly, performing minor maintenance tasks, and following production standards to meet operational goals.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

•  Operate and monitor machinery to ensure accurate, timely, and safe production output.
•  Perform routine cleaning, setup, and inspections following established quality and safety protocols.
•  Assist with hose connections, equipment adjustments, and system blowdowns per operational requirements.
•  Review production documentation and verify product specifications prior to job execution.
•  Collaborate with team leads to address process issues, product variances, or equipment irregularities.
•  Maintain workplace organization and comply with housekeeping standards.
•  Complete required training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
•  Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

•  6–12 months of machine operation or warehouse experience preferred.
•  Ability to interpret production paperwork and follow verbal or written instructions.
•  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
•  Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
•  Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.
•  Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
•  Problem-solving mindset and willingness to adapt to operational changes.
