Machine Operator

What You Will Do:

• Perform tasks including laminating, cutting and shaping of materials
• Perform maintenance and adjustments on major machines
• Perform routine set-up and operates assigned pieces of equipment
• Work from simple blueprints, specifications and verbal instructions
• Ensure quality in all products
• Accurately process necessary transactions related to labor reporting and record keeping
• Communicate verbally and/or in writing with others
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment 
• Other duties as assigned

Position Details:

• Plant location: Elk Grove Village
• Work week and shift: Monday to Thursday, 10 hour shifts
• Compensation package offered: $21 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in chemical production
•  Excellent mechanical aptitude with light maintenance experience 
• Problem-solving capabilities to deal with situations involving occasional variables in standardized processes
•  Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of the proper use of precision measuring instruments
• Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) environment

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay rate for this role is $21.00 per hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
