Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 2nd Shift 1:42 pm – 10:12 pm

Must be able to work overtime as needed, per seniority and the CBA.

This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position.

What Does It Take to be a Machine Operator at Dawn Foods? 

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

• 1-2 years’ experience as a Machine Operator required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  
• Ability to deal with problem-solving in variable situations. 
• Must be able to work well with others or independently.
• Forklift certification is helpful, and one must be able to become certified.
• Computer skills helpful.
