Machine Builder

Job Overview
The machine builder is responsible for constructing and assembling a variety equipment including material transporters, tanks, and pump assemblies.
Responsibilities
◦ Read mechanical blueprints and technical diagrams
◦ Assemble machine parts and components
◦ Complete basic equipment component wiring
◦ Test completed equipment to ensure proper functionality
◦ Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and solve issues
◦ Keep work area clean and organized
◦ Develop less experienced Machine Builders through on the job training as necessary.
◦ Effectively and safely operating hand and power tools, mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, saws, and shears
◦ Disassembles, prepares and crates parts and equipment for shipment to customers
◦ Follow safety protocols and procedures
◦ Completes appropriate job paperwork
◦ Maintain tools and equipment
Requirements
◦ High school diploma or equivalent
◦ Previous experience in machine building or a related field
◦ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
◦ Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
◦ Familiarity with various hand and power tools
◦ Strong problem-solving and communication skills
