[What the role is]
Executive Engineer, Traffic Lights Facility (Electrical)

[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a team spearheading the development, operating and maintenance management of various road electrical and mechanical systems to improve the safety and efficiency of the road network and to better meet the needs of commuters.

You will be involved in the traffic signal system including participating in the feasibility study, project planning, tender and design review, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and documentations. You will also have to perform site supervision works, and coordinate with various parties to manage the modification and relocation of traffic light-related equipment, conduct on-site quality and safety checks on works done by contractors, and verify job measurement sheets submitted by contractors.

You will assist to administer the traffic light maintenance contracts, liaise with external parties on their programme, coordinating of site works to ensure timely completion of works as well as managing public feedback.

In addition, you will need to explore and leverage on new technologies to further enhance and improve traffic signal systems. You will also manage feedback from the public, other government agencies and private developers.

[What we are looking for]
• Tertiary Qualification in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering
• Team player with good interpersonal, coordination skills
• Good writing, communication and presentation skills
• Highly motivated and pro-active, with the ability to work independently
• Fresh graduate is welcomed to apply
• Preferably with valid Class 3 driving licence
