Our team sees them throughout every stage of development, from infancy to early adulthood, helping us offer the customized support they to grow into happy, healthy adults. As an LPN, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing this exceptional, top-quality care. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide professional nursing care to patients.
Administer medication.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files.
Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
Follow Code Blue protocol.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Program
Current Florida licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Knowledge of infection control practices
Experience with technology
Computer literacy
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
One year of clinical experience
Pediatric or ambulatory experience
